Obituary

Irvin "Butch" Clark Jr., 73, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on January 5, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio to Irvin and Mary (Holloway) Clark Sr. Shortly after graduating high school, Butch enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged, he worked as a mechanic and transporter for Black & White Cab Company for several years. Butch was an avid NASCAR fan, loved fishing, hunting, spending time with his friends and being with his family. He also had a passion for airplanes and spending time with his beloved pets. Irvin is survived by his children, Mary Clark, Holly (Gabriel) Burgete, Timothy Clark, Lisa Hardy, Charles Wojcicki, John Cook, Christie Swann, Tammy Ironside; grandson, Lewis Burgete; sister, Donna Bachmeyer; niece, Kimberly; and nephews, Christopher and Nicholas. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Mary. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 11:00 am until the time of military honors at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private. Expressions of sympathy in Irvin's name may be directed to Wounded Warrior Project.
