Iva J. (Boyd) Johnson age 77, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 20, 2014 surrounded by her family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Iva was born on January 25, 1937 on Toledo'™s East Side in the area formerly known as Ironville. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, David M. Johnson; son, Irvin T. Thompson; great-granddaughter, Abby L. Kerschner; parents, Iva E. Hartford and Joseph F. Boyd; sister, Violet Cannings; brother, Steven Boyd; and granddaughter-in-law, Sharon Deo-Thompson. She is survived by sons; David B. Johnson, Daniel J. (Melissa) Johnson; daughter, Diana L. (Richard) Trevino; sisters, Rose M. Hartford, Sarah (Louis) Soltes; brother, Joseph (Janet) Boyd; 13 grandchildren; Aaron, Angie, Allison, Adam, David, Kayla, Daniel Jr., Steven, Harley, Jade, Logan, Anniston and Olivia; 8 great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Hector, Aaron Jr., Elijah, Ezekiel, Zoe, Ahna and Kora. There is a ninth on the way. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in North Oregon Cemetery.
