Jack L. Beadle, 81, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Willows Rehabilitation Center in Oregon. He was born in Columbus, OH on May 8, 1928 to Alonzo and Maybelle (Richards) Beadle. Jack was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He had been employed by the City of Toledo as a foreman in the Streets Department for 27 years, retiring in 1987. Jack was an avid bowler and golfer, staking claim to a hole in one. He was a generous and loving person who loved his family.
Surviving are his wife, Joan; daughters, Wanda Redfearn, Jackie (Brian) Thebeau, Cindy Beadle; sons, Larry (Cheryl) Redfearn, Arthur Beadle, and Tim Beadle; step-daughter, Linda Husen; step-sons, Michael (Donna) Husen, Gary (Debra) Husen; sister, Margaret (Wayne) Morrison;sister- in-law, Nancy Beadle. and many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, brother, David Beadle and sister, Deon Raitz.
Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon on Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Contributions in Jack's memory can be made to the Salvation Army. Joan and the family would like to thank Dr. Vega and her staff along with the staff at Willows Rehabilitation Center for their loving care.
