Obituary

Jack L. Brown, 79, of Oak Harbor, Ohio passed away on November 18, 2006, at the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky, OH. Jack was born in Enid, Oklahoma on December 11, 1926, to Lloyd and Jessie (Martinek) Brown. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church Oak Harbor, Paragon Masonic Lodge and Golden Emblem. Jack was a Naval Veteran of WWII and was employed as a signal inspector with Conrail Railroad for 38 years, retiring in 1987. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, hockey and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Florence; daughters, Donna J. Patterson and Debra (William) Dunn; grandchildren, Jackie Lee (Jason Robb) Panfili, Brian (Tammy) Patterson, Billy "Whitey" (Stormy Mays) Dunn and Lindsay (Danny) Bergman; sisters, Nina Clay, Joann Horn; many nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and dear friend, Bud "Pal" Krause. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd. with Paragon Lodge services held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of Riverview Health Care Campus, Stein Hospice and the Ohio Veteran's Home for all their loving care.
