Jack Simpson, 91, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 21, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born in Pineville, Kentucky, April 18, 1933, to Opal Simpson. Jack was employed with Libbey-Owens-Ford for 35 years, retiring in 1987. During his 37 years of retirement, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, making rounds at his favorite coffee shops, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Jack is survived by his wife of 34 years, Marie; children, Teresa (Mike Mishka) Pedelose; step-son, Douglas (Lynn) Richardson; step-daughter, Debra (Greg) Clark; grandchildren, Sarah Davis, Marissa (Travis) Whitmore and Nicholas (Taylor Green) Bonnette; step-grandchildren, Doug (Larissa) Richardson Jr., Melissa Beck (Tom Potts), Ashley Root, Adam (Shannon) Richardson, Matthew Richardson (Israel Garcia), and Justin Hanus; great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Maverick Whitmore; step-great-grandchildren, Kennedy Richardson, Jeremiah (Sam) Cook, Dylan Thaxton, Kyle Beck, Ashley Root, Allie Richardson, Gavin Richardson, Jayce Richardson, and Olivia Richardson; step-great-great-grandchildren, Orion Cook, Myah Cook, Odin Cook, and Luca Thaxton; brother-in-law, Charles Hodges; along with many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jack Simpson Jr.; sister, Sue Hodges; and former wife Frances "Ruth" Simpson.

The family will receive friends at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Friday, May 24, 2024, from 10:00 am until funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment: Oakwood Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
