Jack M. Stage, 65, of Toledo, Ohio passed away September 11, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born in Toledo, OH on July 31, 1949 to James and Kathleen (Nelson) Stage. Jack was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired as an engineer with Norfolk Southern Railroad after 42 years. Jack was a member of the MENSA Society, enjoyed fishing, going to casinos, classic cars and playing poker with his friends. Surviving are his daughter, Kari (Mark) Buffington of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Doug (Mary) Stage of Northwood, OH; sister, Linda Myers of Temperance, MI; grandchildren, Elise, Elizabeth and Brian Buffington; many nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends;, Lars, Gordie and Doug 'œRocket'. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Kitty Stage. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, September 15, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of sharing at 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor'™s choice.
