Jackson L. Reynolds, 84, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Lane Park Oregon, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Reynolds was born in Lincoln County, West Virginia on August 6, 1932 to Henry and Angeline (Mead) Reynolds. Jackson served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of IBEW Local 8 and Chippewa Golf Club. Jackson was a member of Echo Meadows Church of Christ where he served as an usher. His true passion was spending time with his family; especially his children and grandchildren.
Jackson is survived by his loving wife of 62 yrs, Phyllis; children, Jackson (Cyndi) Reynolds, Susan (Al) Daly; grandchildren, Lindsay Almester, Matthew Reynolds, Andrew Daly,; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Kathryn Johnson, Marie Roberts, Dorothy Clark, Linda Gawthrop, and Barbara Racer. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Reynolds.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Echo Meadows Church of Christ or Northwestern Ohio Christian Youth Camp.
