Jacqueline "Jackie" J. Gronau, 71, Northwood, Ohio, passed away February 26, 2004, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Toledo, OH, on July 18, 1932, to Walter and Doris (Smith) Gronau. Jackie was employed as a computer technician at Champion Spark Plug for 28 years, retiring in 1987, prior to that she had worked for Parkview Hospital. Jackie attended the University of Michigan, University of Toledo and Davis Business College. She was a member of the Toledo Zoological Society and the Toledo Museum of Art. Surviving is her cousin and adopted sister, Linda (Mike) Mason; cousins, Judy (Jim) Gronau Sterman, Gary (Joyce) Gronau, Joanne Gronau, Marvin Ogle, Carolyn Hackl, Carol Bilbrey, Iris (Jerry) Coffman-Szelagowski, Shirley "Sassy" Smith-Stihler, Helen Weinkamp Rady, Ruthie Heller Adolph, Shirley Ogle; nieces and nephews, David (Dawn) Mason, Monique (Curt) Mason Whited, Kristy (Rob)Coffman-Szelagowski-Frizzell, Kati Coffman-Szelagowski, Amy (Brad) Sterman Ramlow, Julie (Steve) Sterman Bobash, Marguerite Weinkamp Rymer, Jenny (Rob) Gronau dyKalisz, Kristin Gronau, Brian Gronau; also surviving are great nieces and nephews, David Jr. (Katherine) of Scotland, Jacob, Breanna, Owen, Bailey, Allison, Stevie, Pam; very special friends, Rich and Rita Henzler. Visitation and Funeral Services were held Tuesday at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH. Interment followed in Lake Township Cemetery.
