Jacqueline McCrindle, 88, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2016 in the loving care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on February 12, 1927 to Fred and Emma Burger. Jackie graduated from Whitney Vocational High School and worked many years as a payroll clerk for Bentley and Pipe Trades and North West Mechanical Contractors. After retiring she and her husband owned and operated the Peppermint Stick Ice Cream Store in Oregon. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and the Oregon Senior Center. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David McCrindle; sisters, Charlotte (Bob) Hecklinger, Peg (Pat) Konarska. She is survived by her daughter, Sherrie Lyn (Frank) Fata; grandchildren, Cori (Matthew) Fata-Hartley, Brian M. Fata; great grandchildren, Lukas and Thomas Hartley; niece, Charlene (Terry) Fleisher; nephews, Keith (Patty) Konarska, Kevin (Laurie) Konarska and special friend and companion, Arthur Gomoll. The family would like to thank Art for the comfort and loving support he gave Jackie during the weeks of her illness.
Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. and where her funeral services will be held on Monday, February 1 at 11:00 am, with burial to follow at Willow Cemetery.
