James W. Abrell, Jr., 81, passed away on February 15, 2011 at the Parkcliffe Community at Wright Harvey House. He was born on April 11, 1929 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to James Sr. and Edna (Manns) Abrell. He was a WWII Army veteran serving in the Military Police. Jim started his own business 'œJim'™s Garage' in the 1960'™s, now owned by his son. Jim is a member of the VFW Post #3265. Jim enjoyed woodworking, traveling, loved to have fun and working on his 1993 Cadillac. Jim will be remembered as one who always helped others in their time of need.
Jim is survived by his sons, Mike (Darlene), Jim (Chris), Eugene (Michele); daughters, Deb (Lynn) Olinger, Sue (Bob) Dickinson, Denise Freeman; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brother, Andy Abrell; brother-in-law, Frank Donofrio; special friend, Jim Shull. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; parents; sister, 'œSis' Gerry; son-in-law, John Freeman; sister-in-law, Donna Jean Abrell.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel from 9:00 a.m. until the sharing of memories at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Jim'™s name are asked to consider the Parkcliffe Community at Wright Harvey House.
