James P. Belch, 82, of Millbury , Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Heartland of Waterville.  Jim was born in Millbury to Alva and Helen (Diefenthaler) Belch on June 24, 1926.  He was a proud Navy WWII Veteran.  Jim was a member of the First Congregational Church.  He had retired from Libbey Owens Ford after 36 years of employment and then went to work for Luckey Farmers, which he truly enjoyed.   Surviving are his children, Todd (Peggy) Belch, Brenda "Gidge" (Sam) Meyerholtz, Sheila (Rick) Williams;    7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; sister, Geraldine (Al) Barron; sister-in-law, Phyllis Belch; special friend, Jean Bihn.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Don Belch; half-sister, Kate Clark.   Private family services will be held on Friday.  Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Jim's memory are asked to consider American Diabetes Association or to the Kidney Foundation.
