James H. Bensch, 55, of Oregon passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2005 in Bayshore Commons at Orchard Villa. James was born in Toledo on June 7, 1950 to Norman and Alice (Kohler) Bensch. Mr. Bensch was an engineer for the Norfolk and Southern Railroad where he had worked for 17 years. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Surviving are his mother, Alice Bensch; sister, Suzette Bensch; aunt, Thelma (Jack) Pinson and many cousins. Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at 11:00 am in St. Mark Lutheran Church, Woodville and Elmore Streets. Interment in Riverview Cemetery in Oak Harbor will be private. Memorial contributions in Jim's memory can be made to the St. Mark Lutheran Church "Keep the Bell Ringing" Renovation Fund.
