James Robert Benton, 20, of Plantation, FL and formerly of Oregon, Ohio passed away November 5, 2011. He was born in Oregon, Ohio on May 13, 1991 to John and Bethanne (Siebenaller) Benton. James was a meter installer with Florida Power and Light. He was involved with the Boy Scouts of America and was a former member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Surviving are his parents; brother, Maxwell; grandfather, Robert (Paula) Benton; grandmothers, Christine Benton and Mary Schoen; several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. James was preceded in death by his grandfather, Stephen Schoen. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. with a scripture service at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park.
