James W. Dever, 61, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on April 28, 2003 in St. Vincent Hospital Mercy Medical Center. He was born August 31, 1942 in Toledo Ohio to James LeRoy and Bernice (Allen) Dever. James was previously employed as a manager by the Metropolitan Theaters in Los Angeles. James is survived by his father, James LeRoy Dever, of New Mexico; sister, Barbara Duty of Oklahoma; half brothers, Charles of Northwood, OH and Robert Baker of Lima, OH; step brother, Jimmie Baker; nephew, Jimmie Duty; niece, Tamie Payne of Oklahoma and several nieces. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2003 from 5-8 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
