James Dominique, 89, of Oregon, OH, passed away on July 30, 2003 in his home. He was born on December 24, 1913 in Toledo, Ohio to John and Alice (Miller) Dominique. James served in the US Army during WWII and was employed by the Sun Oil Refinery as a truck driver. He was a member of First St. Mark Lutheran Church. James loved spending time with his grandchildren and his pride and joy great grandchildren.
Surviving are his sons, Larry (Gerry), Dean (Kathy), and Phillip "Stub" (Nancy) Dominique; grandchildren, Michelle, Jeffrey, Jenna and Jamie; great-grandchildren, Nicole, Mason, Peyton, Joseph and Lucas and brother, Phillip (Jean) Dominique. James was preceded in death by his wife, Alice in 1996; brothers, Joseph, George, and John; sisters, Alice, Josephine and Catherine.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2003 from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH. Funeral services will conducted on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in First St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1121 Grasser St., Oregon, Ohio where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Expressions of sympathy in James' memory can be made to First St. Mark Lutheran Church.
