James S. Finger, 66, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 20, 2021 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Jim was born on August 21, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio to James D. and Alice M. (Belegrin) Finger. He graduated from Clay High School and was employed as a wastewater operator for 27 years with the City of Oregon retiring in 2020. He attended Christ United Methodist Church and often dreamed of moving to Costa Rica after retirement. Surviving are his mother, Alice M. Seferian; siblings, Christine M. Bricker, David J. (Joanne), Mark S. (Cathleen), Beth A. (Scott) Gibson and Alan M. (Sally); numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James D. in 1964. Family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday June 26, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 12 noon.
