James W. Forrester
James W. Forrester, 82, of Genoa, OH passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2004 in his
home. James was born on June 11, 1922 to Hickman and Mattie (Breece) Forrester. He
was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving his country during W.W.II. Jim was employed for 30
years as a glass cutter for Libby Owens Ford in plant 8 and was a bus driver for 25 years
with Lake Schools. Jim also was a member of AA for 49 years.
James is survived by his sons, David Clark and James (Tammy) Forrester; daughters,
Joyce (Bob) Hanely of California, Janet Cutcher of Genoa, Katherine (Gary) Gosssett and
Kathleen (Willard) England of Tennessee; brother, Wesley Forrester; sisters, Louise
Howell, Sue Beech and Mozine Atkinson; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and
many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora; parents; brother,
Dennis Forrester and sisters, Lucille Petty, Berniece Greener, Lois Waters, Eula Nash and
Hallie Nash.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 from 2 until 9 PM in the
Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111Woodville Rd.,
Millbury, OH. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 1
PM. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in
James's name may be sent to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The Forrester family would like
to give a special thanks to Hospice of NWO for their loving care and support.
