James Hamblin, 77, of Oregon, passed away April 23, 2009. He was born December 22, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to Nelson and Ethel (Shank)Hamblin. James served in the United States Navy and then went to work for CSX Railroad for 37 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart church and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. James is survived by his wife of 51 years, Margie; daughter, Judith (Michael Sr.) O' Shea; grandchildren, Michael (Sarah) O'SheaJr., Elizabeth (Ryan)Huntermark, and James O'Shea; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Alexis and Christian Huntermark; sisters, Arlene Dickinson, Jane Soldano, and Margaret Hamblin. He was preceded in death by his parents;and brothers, Keith Hamblin and Floyd Hamblin. Visitation will take place on Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, at 440 S. Coy Rd. in Oregon,Ohio. Funeral Services will be in the funeral home on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at Lake Township Cemetery.
