James C. Hester, 66, of Wauseon, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, July 4, 2010. Jim was born in Toledo, Ohio to Leonard Franklin and Mildred Blanche (Herm) Hester. He was a graduate of Grand Rapids High School and Owens Community College. In 2000, Jim retired from Maumee Ford Stamping Plant after 30 years of service where he was employed as a supervisor in the maintenance department. He was a member of the Wauseon American Legion Post #265 and also the Pharoh Car Club. He loved being with his family and spent endless hours with his sons and friends restoring classic cars.
Surviving are his wife, Barb; children, Kirk (Karen), Amber (Mark) Macksey, Jay (Glynis); Fred (Renae) Kubitz, Sandra (Dan) Ham, Jerry McIntire; grandchildren, Danica, Cameron, James, Rachel, Nathan, Austin 'œBud Man', Mason, Leah, Amanda, Althea, Ellee, Emilee; sister, Janet Borough; brothers, Donald (Joanne) Estep, Richard (Shirley) Hester. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and step-daughter, Micki McIntire.
Visitation will be held at the Peinert Funeral Home, 7220 Dutch Road, Waterville, Ohio on Thursday from 1:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at same on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Providence Twp., Ohio. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Jim'™s memory are asked to consider Wauseon Senior Center.

Services: Friday, July 9, 2010 10:30 a.m. at Pinert Funeral Home in Waterville.
Interment: To follow service at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Providence Township.
