James Patrick Irwin, 68, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Parkcliffe Community at Northwood. James was born February 28, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio to Herbert and Mary (O'Halloran) Irwin.

Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army. On February 14, 1987 he married the love of his life, Susan (Burcin) Irwin. Jim worked at Jeep for many years as an inspector until his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing, and watching war and western movies. Jim was a loyal Cleveland Browns fan.

Left to forever cherish his memory is his daughter, Brittany (Brian) Wyman; grandson, Wyatt Wyman; siblings, Cathy (Pat) Zaleski, Nancy Ellis, John (Janice) Irwin, Cal (Peggi) Irwin, Mike Irwin, Betsy (Mike) Way; mother-in-law, Pat Burcin; brothers-in-law, Jim Wauford and Bill (Connie) Burcin; sister-in-law, Linda (John) Woggerman; and many nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Susan Irwin; and sister, Nora Wauford.

Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Friday from 2-8 p.m. and where his funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
