James L. Jaegly, 80, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. James was born on February 5, 1928, to Herman and Florence (Poole) Jaegly. He was employed as a Fleet Manager at Kulhman Builders for 30 years. James was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Rossford Eagles and Good Shepherd Church. Jim was a lifelong boater and an avid fisherman. James is survived by his loving wife, Almira, of 57 years; son, Bob (Peggy) Jaegly; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) DeGraff, Robert, Jason Jaegly; sisters, Rita Reed, Regina (Joe) Dobes; and brother, Jack (Bernice) Jaegly. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Norman and Gene Jaegly. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday from 2-9 p.m. and where Fraternal Order of Eagles service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday in Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 541 Utah Street and where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the Mass.
