James P. Weott, 79, of Toledo, passed away on May 24, 2011 at his residence. He was born on August 7, 1931 to Arthur and Beulah (Avery) Weott. Jimmy worked at the Toledo Sports Arena for 20 years before retiring in 1974. Jimmy is survived by his sister, Helen Bovee; brothers, Jesse and William Weott; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
