James L. Ludwig, 85, of Oregon, OH passed away May 9, 2007, at Parkcliffe Community. He was born in Toledo, OH on May 19, 1921, to Willis and Garnet (Hood) Ludwig. Jim was employed as an inspector at Champion Spark Plug. He was a former member of Second Baptist Church and was a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award by the Toledo Area Council of Boy Scouts. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Leona; children, Kenneth and Donald Ludwig, and daughter, Jacqueline Wittscheck; 8 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Benjamin and Richard and sister, Grace. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, May 11, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
