James E. "Pa" Miller, 70, passed away on April 12, 2016 at Kingston of Perrysburg. He was born on March 7, 1946 in Martin, Ohio to Edward and Wilma (Moritz) Miller. Jim was a graduate of Genoa High School and went on to work for Daimler Chrysler in Perrysburg, Ohio for 43 years before retiring in 2006. Jim enjoyed coaching his son and others in the Walbridge youth baseball league. Jim cherished his time spent with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren who were the light of his life. He loved watching his grandchildren in their sporting events. Jim also enjoyed golfing, especially with his friend, Skip.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Carol Sue; sons, Frank (Shannon) Miller; daughter, Amy (Dave) Satkowski; son, Aaron Sheehan; sister, Diane Hagan; grandchildren, Zack, Nash, and Ivan Miller, Kayla Ann and Kurt Satkowski; and one great-child on the way; mother-in-law, Marguerite Bennett. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Barb (Helle); in-laws, Smoke (Dorothy) Helle; brother-in-law, Charles Hagan.
Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd., on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Williston Cemetery. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Jim's memory are asked to consider the Allen Township Fire Department or Hospice of Northwest Ohio – Perrysburg.
