James P. Mravec, 72, of Northwood, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. Jim was born in Toledo, Ohio, on October 25, 1942 to Joseph and Ann (Buco) Mravec. He had retired from GM Powertrain where he was employed for 43 years. Jim enjoyed hunting, but was most comfortable at home enjoying his pool and being with his family. Surviving are his children, James (Luann) Mravec and Jenny Mravec; grandchildren, Hunner, Tanner, Zachary, Logan. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Janet; brother, Joseph. Friends and family may visit the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd. (east of I-280) on Monday from 2 until the time of his funeral service which will be held at 7:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy in Jim's name are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Diabetes Association.
