James "Jimmy" C. Reihing, 51, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 17, 2023. He was born in Oregon, Ohio on December 21, 1971 to James and Linda (Burdett) Reihing. He graduated from Clay High School and worked as a carpenter for 20 years before working at The Toledo Refining Company as an Operator. He was a member at St. Ignatius Church. Jimmy enjoyed sports, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Red Wings. He had a passion for cars, especially his Pontiac G8 and 71 Lemans. He enjoyed traveling to the Smokey Mountains and to the beach. Jimmy had a sweet tooth, enjoyed working puzzles, but what he cherished most was his family. He was the guy that could always make you laugh and a smile that could light up the room. His children will forever be grateful for the advice their dad had given them. He was a kind soul that will be greatly missed by many.

Jimmy is survived by his children, Vicki (Nathan) Scanlan, Brenden Reihing, Jacee Reihing; granddaughter, Gemma; parents, James and Linda Reihing; siblings, Renee (Troy) Roth, Dawn (Dave) Heitzman, Shawn (Angie Kulwicki) Reihing; ex-wife, Pam Reihing; and many nieces, nephews and loving family members. He was preceded in death by his niece, Katie Reihing.

The family will greet friends at St. Ignatius Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd., Oregon, Ohio, 43616 on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of memorial mass at 11:00 a.m. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
