James, G. Schroeder, 64, passed away on January 29, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 2, 1948 to Merlin and Dorothy (Meng) Schroeder. James served in the Army Reserves during the Vietnam Era. He worked at First Energy as a Material Control Supervisor for 25 years before retiring in 1994. James was an avid golfer and loved University of Michigan sports. His favorite activity was spending time with his beloved grandchildren. James is survived by his loving wife, Linda; sons, Scot (Mette) and Gregory (Heidi) Schroeder; grandchildren, Matthew, Drew, Aidan, and Graeson Schroeder; sister, Sharon (Larry) Skeldon; brother-in-law, Mark Gable; nephews, Robert, Eric and Christopher Hahn; special family friend, Karry Loch. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S.
