James Michael Seaman, 46, of Toledo, OH, reposed in the Lord on Saturday, March 21st following cardiac arrest and a long period of suffering from multiple health conditions, including kidney failure. His devoted mother Najah was his primary caregiver through these difficult trials.

James had a wonderful sense of humor and was lovingly affectionate, compassionate and generous with his family and friends, with whom he loved to spend his time. Some of James' favorite pastimes were watching college football, rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes, and collecting baseball cards
James is survived by his parents, Dr. James and Najah Seaman; his daughter, Brianna; and her mother, Cecilia Ruiz; his sister, Samantha (Fr. Andre) Paez; nephews, Rafael and Samuel Paez; and his nieces, Isabel, Mariel and Gabrielle Paez; and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, especially Joey Kowalewski, and friends, especially Travis Phalin, as well as his beloved pets Smokey and Tika.
James was recently received into the Eastern Orthodox Church and donations may be made in his memory to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral or the Kidney Foundation. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at St. Charles Hospital's ICU unit for their loving care of James.
