James Owen Slover, 42 of Belleview, Florida and formerly of Toledo, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Promise Hospital at the Villages. Jim was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 6, 1971 to James T. and Bonnie (Gerbics) Slover. Jim worked and was the co-owner along with his brother, Michael, of Jim'™s Converters. His many hobbies including being a Bear'™s football fan; going to Nascar races with his brothers, being a Earnhardt fan; and his sudden urges to go to Las Vegas to play craps. Jim'™s real love was being with his family and traveling to new places with them. Jim will always be remembered as a man who loved his work and a real people person. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Jim is survived by his wife, April; children, Emily, Codie, Ryan Slover;; sister, Sandra (James) Slover Curtis, Anthony Holewinski; half-siblings, Tina and Jim Slover. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; son, James 'œJT'; brother, Michael Slover; half-sister, Evelyn Slover Beebe.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 and Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 2:00 pm '" 8:00 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road and where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Forest Cemetery.
