James "Jim" L. West, 79, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021. He was born in Willard, Ohio to Lloyd and Catherine (Capale) West. Jim worked at Northfolk Southern for 36 years before retiring in 2002. He was an avid collector of automotive memorabilia, especially trains and Hot Wheels. In his younger years he had train tables set up in the basement where his children loved to spend time. Jim enjoyed shopping around for the next Hot Wheel, but what he enjoyed most was spending time with his family. Jim is survived by his children, Dori (Terry) Meyer, Dawna Agsten, Denine "Dee" Koehler and David West. He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Alice and second wife, Desi. In accordance with Jim's wishes, services will remain private. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home is assisting the family.
