James H. Williams, 80, of Toledo, passed away on June 4, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 3, 1932 to Martin and Meldia (Creekmore) Williams. James served in the US Air Force and worked at Libbey Glass for 42 years before retiring in 1994. He is a 32 Degree Mason and a member of the Shriner'™s. James enjoyed spending time with his family, boating, fishing, hunting and playing cards. James is survived by his daughter, Catherine Basinger; sons, James 'œGreg' (Debbie) and David (Teresa); siblings, Mary Ellen Sharpe, Betty Jane (Tom) Littleton, Jesse Williams; uncles, Billy Jean and John Martin (Sue) Creekmore; grandchildren, Michael (Lindsey), Lindsey (Nathan), Danielle (Grant), Matthew (Kristina); great-grandchildren, Natalie, Grant and Nathan. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Roberta. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 9:30 am with interment following in Restlawn Memorial Park.
