Obituary

James M. Wollam, 72, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 22, 2007, at St. Vincent/ Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Bettsville, Ohio on May 20, 1935, to Charles and Bertha (Whicker) Wollam. James was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was employed at Crown Battery for 38 years where he served as warehouse manager. James was an avid motorcyclist and an auto racing fan. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Moose Lodge #1286 in Fremont, Ohio. Surviving are is significant other for over 23 years, Phyllis Black; children, Steven (Constance) Wollam of Westerville, OH, Diann Wollam of Fremont, OH, Eric (Susanne) Wollam of Marina Del Rey, CA and Jennifer Black; sisters, Betty Stape, Gail DeVanna and Janice Kay Saam; 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, December 27, 2007, from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Graham Cemetery, Wayne, Ohio. The family suggests contributions be made to either Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the charity of the donor's choice. Visitation: null Services: null
