Obituary

Jane Elizabeth Huth-Klocinski, 75, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with MS and multiple myeloma. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on May 18, 1950, to Pete and Irene (Waryu) Klocinski.

Jane graduated from Waite High School and went on to the School of Stenography, later earning a certification from the Master Gardening Program at The Ohio State University— "Go Bucks." Though she had no formal training, she taught herself photography, capturing nature's beauty with an intuitive eye that made her work both personal and timeless.

She worked for Visiting Nurse Service for 34 years and later as a PBX operator for Bay Park Hospital before retiring in 2013. While working full-time and being a devoted mom, Jane still found room to explore countless passions throughout her life.

As a multi-passionate entrepreneur with an enormous heart, Jane—together with her husband, Louis G.—founded You Lucky Dog Rescue and launched Design by Jane Landscaping. Through their rescue work, they helped more than 769 dogs find new beginnings and forever homes.

Jane had a way of seeing beauty everywhere. She photographed the world she loved, filling her home with images, and she brought that same devotion to the earth itself—planting trees, tending gardens, and creating spaces that will continue to grow in her memory. This past year, she cherished every moment spent with family, meeting new friends who cared for her with kindness, and taking joyful rides on her Cub Cadet for "perimeter walks" with her beloved Cricket. Her familiar call— "Come on, Cricket, pottywalk!"—will echo in our hearts forever.

Jane is survived by her children, Pete Huth, Angela Briones, and Andrea Young (Aaron Young); grandchildren, Renee, Michelle, Anthony, Matthew, Lynnsie, Daniel, Lucas, and Abrianna; great-grandchildren, Richard, Albert, Remi, Oliver, and Eliana; sisters, Cynthia Gatewood and Barbara Lavender; and her beloved Cricket Huth. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tom Klocinski.
