Janet Lee Everhardt, a selfless woman of faith, 57, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 11, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Janet was born October 22, 1963 in Fremont, Ohio to Joseph and Mable (Potridge) Elder. Janet was employed with Brush Wellman / Materion of Elmore for over 20 years. Janet treasured the time spent with her family; camping at Mohican State Park, attending concerts, girl's weekends, and spending winters in Florida. She had an eye for home decorating, fashion, and was a longtime member of Bethel United Brethren Church, Elmore. Janet will be remembered for her resourcefulness, strong work ethic, and devotion to her family.
Janet is survived by her husband, Tom; children, Andrew (Jennifer) Cuevas, John (Sarah) Cuevas, Ashley (Matt) Thomas, Chris (Kelsey) Cuevas, Joe (Corissa) Everhardt, and Josh (Kim) Everhardt; grandchildren, Ian, Elijah, Alyssa, Drew, Easton, Mila, Isabel, Jylianna, Emmanuel, Ellie, Cooper, and Kyler; siblings, Martha (Bob) Caris, Deborah (Ron) Schutlze, Karen Elder, Joseph Elder, Tina (Kenneth) Wolford, Linda (Mark) Esposito, David (Theresa) Elder; mother-in-law, Faye Everhardt; her dog, Bubby; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Elder; siblings, Michael Elder and Cynthia Elder; and father-in-law, Fritz Everhardt.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (East of I-280) on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Masks and state mandated social distancing will be observed. Interment: Clay Township Cemetery. Memorials: University of Michigan Oncology Department or Promedica Hospice.
