Janet S. Gest, 65, of Gibsonburg, Ohio passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at home. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 18, 1957, to Emery E. and Lois J. (Paben) Harsanje. Janet graduated from Central Connecticut University with a bachelor's degree and was employed with the Loctite Company in Avon, Connecticut. Janet also volunteered at Little Sisters of the Poor for several years.

Janet is survived by her loving companion of 11 years, Aultie Gilliland.; sister, Kathy (Gene) Zaeff; sister-in-law, Kathy Harsanje and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews in Texas, Louisiana and Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Harsanje.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon.
