Janet R. Green, 67, of Toledo, passed away Friday, November 6, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo on December 14, 1941 to Wade and Ruth (Ludwig) Apthorpe. Janet worked at the Golden Lily Restaurant for 18 years. For over 25 years, she was a member of the Idle Time Club. Janet loved nature, animals, card playing with friends, and watching game shows. Family was important to Janet, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was known for her sense of humor, laughing and smiling even in her final days. Surviving are her daughters, Kelly Dazey (John Perrine), Kathy Green ( Rick Beaubien); grandchildren Joseph, Jamie, and Justin Elchert, Krystal Dazey, and Kathryn Heckman; great grandchildren Isaiah and Damarius; and brother, Jerry Apthorpe. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S.
