Janet Marie Ortega, 68, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away September 28, 2013 at her place of residence. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 31, 1944. Janet was a Christian and was a part of the East Toledo Family Center. Surviving is her mother, Arleen Marie (Zeigler) Siegert Galloway; sister, Emma Gill; brother, James Galloway; children, Roberto (Bonnie) Ortega and Mary Arleen (Scott) Lawson; grandchildren Anthony, Shelbie, Cynthia, Alexandrea, Robert, Paris and Marybeth; and great grandchildren Aliviah and Derrick. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sharon Guy and Carolyn Jean Galloway; and her step father, Arthur E. Siegert. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday October 3, from 5:00 until the time of the service at 8:00 p.m. Memorial contribution can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
