Janet M. Simon, 58, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Janet was born in Oregon, Ohio on June 29, 1954 to Jack and Anna (Norman) Haynes. She was a graduate of Lake High School and enjoyed playing bingo and cards. Janet is survived by her children; Tina Purnell and Samantha (David Edwards) Simon; grandchildren, David Edwards III and Brice Edwards; siblings, Patricia (Glenn) Ohler, Connie (Paul) Lemke, Allan (Betty) Haynes and Kenneth (Barbara) Haynes; and former husband, Mark 'œBuck' Simon. She was preceded in death by her parents and many loving family members. Private services will be held. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
