Janet E. Smith Davis, 79, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born in Toledo, OH on April 23, 1941 to Edward and Jeannette (Coy) Smith. Janet graduated from Clay High in 1959 and was employed with E.M. Smith & Son Travel Trailers Inc. for 35 years retiring as vice president. She enjoyed shopping, tennis, golf and wintering in Sanibel Island, FL. Janet was "Women of the Year" in 1994 with ZONTA's Toledo 1 Chapter. She also taught Sunday school at Trinity Episcopal Church. Surviving are her husband of 11 years, Dean Davis; daughter, Shawnelle (Steve) Johns; grandson, Tyler Johns; siblings, Patrick Smith and Beverly (Phillip) Hahn. Best friend & cousin Sharon Smith Herman. She was preceded in death by her parents. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation or services at this time. The family will be planning a memorial service at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy in Janet's name are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
