Janice M. Strauss, 56, of Toledo, OH passed away December 14, 2006 at Hospice of NW Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo, OH on March 1, 1950 to Richard and Ludmilla (Peer) Watkins. Janice was a social worker employed by the Aurora Gonzales Center in the Child Adult Care Food Program. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was involved in the Children's Liturgy of the Word, a Eucharistic Minister, Baptism Education Classes and a Girl Scout leader for many years. Janice was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Rossford. She especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.   Surviving are her husband, Dale R.; children, Dawn (Donald), Idalgo (Pat) Flores, Natasha (Charles), Robert (Desirae), Felicity, Anneliese (Rodney), James (Megan) and Joel Strauss; 11 grandchildren; brother, Mike Watkins; sister, Deborah McIlrath and a host of family and friends. Janice was preceded in death by her daughter, Christina, parents and brother, Rick Watkins.   Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday  and  Sunday from 2-9 p.m. with a scripture service on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Monday at 10:15 a.m. and proceed to Sacred Heart Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Contributions in Janice's memory can be made to Hospice of NW Ohio or the charity of the donor's choice.
