Jayden Cox, 22, of Clay Center, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, May 9, after a courageous 4 year battle with Osteosarcoma with his loving family and friends by his side. Jayden was born in Oregon, Ohio, on January 25, 2004 to Michael Cox II and Kaesie Kettinger. He graduated from Penta Vocational School pursuing a career in welding in which he excelled. He was a Star Wars fanatic, collecting lots of memorabilia along the way, with his prized possession being a sith light saber. Jayden enjoyed gaming on his PC with friends, going 4 wheeling and various other outdoor adventures. To know him was to love him, even with those smart sarcastic remarks. He had the ability to light up the room, never meeting a stranger. Jayden loved watching Sci/Fi movies, going to the shooting gun range with Xavier and Mario. He was always tinkering on something whether it was his car or tech related. Jayden was the best big brother that Connor could ask for, he never gave up, he battled until his body couldn't fight anymore. He was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents; brothers, Connor and Tierian; grandparents, Robert and Carolyn Kettinger and Michael Cox; aunt, Keasha Clark; and cousin, Olivia Clark.

The family will greet friends at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd., Millbury, Ohio, 43447 on Monday, May 18, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 7:00 p.m.
