Jean R. Buchan, 76, of Oregon, OH passed away on Friday, September 8, 2006. Jean was born in Toledo, OH on February 2, 1930. She was employed as a Secretary at numerous Insurance Companies. Jean was a volunteer at St. Louis Helping Hands, and Ohio Reads to Children at Northwood Schools. Surviving are her sons, Bruce (Cindy), Patrick (Ronda); grandchildren, Jason, Nicholas, and Anna. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Pat. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. at Starr Avenue on Sunday, September 10 and Monday, September 11, 2006, from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with interment following in North Oregon Cemetery.
