Jean E. Davenport, 70, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Sunday October 29, 2017, at St. Charles Hospital. She was born in New Jersey on April 22, 1947 to Harry and Marian VanDyke. Jean worked at Shop Rite for 29 and a half years. She loved her grandson Connor dearly. Jean is survived by her husband, Dennis Davenport Sr.; children, Dennis Davenport Jr. and Jennifer Davenport; grandson, Connor Davenport; siblings, Harry VanDyke, Florence Kurtyka, Fran Castrovinci, Patricia Mooney and Frank VanDyke; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 3:00 p.m., until the time of the funeral service at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to Jean's family to help with the funeral costs.
