Jean P. Kenney, 77, of Toledo, Ohio passed away February 9, 2009 at Orchard Villa. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 13, 1931 to Adrian and Sarah (Hinsch) Oberlin. Jean had been employed as a bookkeeper at the Roulet Manufacturing Company, retiring in 1996. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Susan (Nick) Dunaway, Jeannie Herrick and Ronald (Mary) Kenney; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sister, Sharon Leach and daughter-in-law, Pat Graves. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester Kenney; sons, Robert and James Graves; sisters, Mary Jane Blus and Gladys Oberlin. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in North Oregon Cemetery.
