Jean W. White, 84, of Millbury, Ohio and formerly of Point Place, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born June 12, 1925 in Glasgow, Scotland to William and Agnes (Fisher) Strain. Jean served in the Scottish military during World War II, and later worked for a shoe store in Glasgow, Scotland. She was a former member of Ottawa River United Methodist Church and the Clan McGregor Auxiliary. Jean married R.M.S. Corporal Dennis M. White on February 21, 1953. Surviving are daughter Sandy (Jim) Brown; grandchildren Tonya (Weston) Lubash, Melissa (Nick) Domanowski, Nichole and Brittany White; special grandchildren Matt Helle and Lori (Jerret) Hartman; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan, Cora, Jadyn, Whitley, and Jenna. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis M. White and son, Dennis M.
