Jeanne F. Bloomfield, 86, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by her loving family. Jeanne was born on October 13, 1925 in Toledo, Ohio to Joseph and Anna (Klatt) Czubachowski. Jeanne was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and on August 6, 1949, she married Richard Bloomfield. For many years, Jeanne worked at Libbey Owens Ford and Lake Junior High School as a secretary, retiring in 1980. She was a longtime member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, where she was actively involved in the parish festival and flea market. Jeanne and Dick were members of the Port Clinton Moose Lodge and Rossford Eagles where they enjoyed dancing. Jeanne was an avid reader and enjoyed tending the many flowers she grew around her home. She enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Florida. Her true passion was spending time with her family who brought her much joy. Jeanne is survived by her children, Ellen (Jim) Schiavone, Chris Bloomfield and Jim (Denise) Bloomfield; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and sister, Irene (Ray) Zaciek. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; grandson, Tyler Earl Bloomfield; great-grandson, Daniel Ruswinkle; 3 sisters and a brother. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Thursday, September 20th from 2:00-8:00 pm where a rosary service will be conducted at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 9:45 am Friday with prayers in the funeral home and proceed to St. Jerome Catholic Church, 300 Werner Street Walbridge for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
