Jeanette Samselski, 84, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2005, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on July 11, 1921.
Jeanette and her husband operated Stickney Produce on the corner of Stickney and Matzinger in the 1950's, which she dearly loved. She also worked for the Lucas County Welfare Department as a case worker, which she retired from in 1982. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Bono, Ohio; a past member of PERI Chapter 82; where she served as secretary for seven years; a current member of PERI Chapter 93; and a member of the Black Swamp Bird Observatory.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Walter J. Samselski, parents, Adam and Hattie Czerniejewski, and brother, Melvin Czerniejewski. Surviving are her daughter, Doris J. (William F.) Bihn, of Curtice, Ohio and grandson, Jason W. Bihn, of Holland, Ohio.
Following Jeanette's wishes there will be no visitation. Burial will be at Calavry Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Jeanette's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
