Jeffery Albert Schneider, 48, passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2011 at Promedica Bay Park Hospital in Oregon, Ohio. Jeff was born on February 11, 1963 in Toledo, Ohio to Al and Pam Schneider. He was a member of the 1981 graduating class of Clay High School in Oregon, Ohio. Jeff was an electrician earning his journeymen'™s license card while working with Schneider Sons'™ Electric. He also obtained his Ohio State Electrical Contractors license. After many years of hard work and dedication as an electrician, he decided to make a career change. He spent several years as the manager at both the Golden Jade and Salad Galley Restaurants. Jeff was currently employed at WoJo'™s Heating and Air Conditioning as 'œJeff Extraordinaire' where he was thought of as a member of their family. He enjoyed spending time at the lake, boating, hunting, bowling and golfing. Jeff loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his partner-in-crime on the golf course, Jim Cox. He was a member of the Commodore Club and the Knights of Columbus. Jeff had a passion for life and was rarely seen without a smile on his face. Some would consider that he was a kid at heart. He was a very compassionate man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Jeff never met a stranger and always made a friend.
Jeff is survived by his parents, Al and Pam Schneider; children, Haley and Kady and their mother; sisters, Darlene (the late Mark McCabe) and Tammy (Jim Cox); nieces, Molly, Missy, Madelyn McCabe and Ryann, Jamye, Kenady Cox; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special friend, Gala Morrison and her children, Hannah, Seth and Thor. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Teenie Schneider and Bob and Eleanor Ruch.
Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with scripture services at 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:45 a.m. and proceed to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Jeff'™s name are asked to consider the Haley and Kady Education Fund in care of Albert D. Schneider.
