Jeffery Schroeder, 66, of West Toledo, passed away on July 29, 2023, at his home. Jeffrey was born on February 13, 1957. Jeffery grew up in East Toledo and attended Jay Shuer School. Jeffery worked at Lott Industries for over 30 years, retiring in 2014.

Jeffery enjoyed watching sports, railroad shows, and Gunsmoke on T.V. He played the drums, loved to play pool, was an Ohio State football fan. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch drinking coffee while cracking jokes and loved going out to eat, he loved a good chili dog. Jeff enjoyed traveling, especially on a cruise in the Bahamas with his buddy Billy aka Willy. Jeff was very proud of his firetruck collection and was proud to show them off.

Jeffery was supported, cared for, loved, and treated like family over the years in his home by his caretakers including Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Lott Industries, Open Arms, Pilot Agency, Lorah, Angie, Kristy, Sierra, and most recently staff from the Epilepsy Center of NWO.

Jeff is survived by his brother Robert. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation with be at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until the start of the service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Lott Industries or the Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio.
