Jeffrey Dries Bosch was born on October 23, 1962 in Steen, MN to Dries and Laura May (Doyle) Bosch and passed on May 13, 2018 in the comfort of his home in Lake Township, OH at the age of 55 following a courageous 9 month battle with cancer.
He was the fourth of five sons and during his formative years Jeff remembered spending his summer months walking beans, bailing hay, golfing at Rock Rapids and playing fast pitch softball in the Border League. He always appreciated growing up in a small town next to his grandparents on one side and uncle, aunt and cousins on the other side.
Jeff graduated from Hills Beaver Creek High School in 1981. He earned his Business Degree from Nettleton College in Sioux Falls in 1984. Jeff also achieved many certifications during his lifetime including in 2009 when he was a graduate of the inaugural Junior Achievement Strategic Leadership Program at Penn State University.
In 1985 Jeff began his career with Junior Achievement USA and was extremely proud to spend 33 years as part of the JA family. His professional gifts and talents were shared in JA communities across the country including; Sioux Falls, SD, Little Rock, AK, Colorado Springs, CO, Cocoa Beach, FL and finally Toledo, OH where he served as President of Junior Achievement of Northwest Ohio for the last 18 years. Jeff was always the first to welcome new leaders to the JA family and greatly appreciated the friendship of confidant Tim Greinert.
Jeff married the love of his life Kelly Sullivan and from this union they welcomed Claire Grace into the world on June 17, 2016. The happiness that Kelly brought into Jeff's life was instantly noticed by everyone and he was so proud to be a father. The greatest expression of love is to be there in all circumstances and never was this more evident as Kelly and his son Bo cared for Jeff during his illness. It seems so right that when Jeff went to his eternal home that Kelly and Bo were the two with him.
Jeff's life was full of activities including running half marathons and attending numerous sporting events, but the activity he loved the most was golf and he was blessed to play some of the best golf courses in the country. Jeff attended a majority of the 20 Bosch Boyz Vikes Weekends along with participating in all of the 26 Bosch Open Championships. His greatest accomplishment in golf came when he won his first Bosch Open Championship in 2009. Jeff also held a special place in his heart for animals and over the years always had cats and dogs running around the house.
Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Kelly of Lake Township, OH; daughter Claire Grace of Lake Township, OH; son Bo (Angela) Bosch of Toledo, OH; mother Laura May Bosch of Brandon, SD; mother in law Laura (Rick) Sullivan of Swanton, OH; brothers: Steven (Janet) Bosch of Minneapolis, MN, Gregory (Anita) Bosch of Cedar Rapids, IA, Paul (Diane) Bosch of Brandon, SD, Thomas (Amy) Bosch Sioux Falls, SD; brother in law Kevin Sullivan of Toledo, OH; 12 nieces and nephews; 8 great nieces and nephews.
